Welcome to my electronic portfolio!

My name is Cherie Stinnett and I am enrolled in the Bachelor's Plus program at Ashland University in pursuit of my Early Childhood Education (PK-3) teaching licensure with a 4-5 endorsement.  I hope to be student teaching by Fall 2012.  Ultimately, I would love to teach kindergarten.

This electronic portfolio was developed to fulfill a requirement for a technology course. The course, Principles of Instructional Technology, offered an introduction to the theories and principles of instructional technology.  It reinforced the fact that teaching and education continues to change and evolve.  I had the opportunity to learn new instructional strategies to adapt to these changes, explore various technology resources, and create various technology products to meet curriculum standards and objectives.  My technology products are included in this portfolio for your review.

The technology projects showcased in this electronic portfolio are categorized by assignment and may be accessed by clicking on the appropriate tab located in the menu on the left side of every page.  This menu reflects the order of the projects throughout this portfolio.  Once you click on the tab of your choice, you will be taken to the corresponding individual page that highlights that specific project.  You may also choose to click on "Next" located at the bottom of each page; this will take you to the following page.  On each page, I have supplied a brief overview or summary of the technology that the project emulates with a link to and/or graphic (screen shot) of the finished product.

You will find a wide variety of technology projects displayed within this portfolio.  Every one of these projects could be incorporated into classroom instruction to meet curricular goals, facilitate and inspire student learning, model digital age learning, enhance the learning process and provide students with an engaging learning experience.

I hope you enjoy reviewing the enclosed projects.  At the end of your visit, please be sure to click on "Conclusion" for my contact information.  I look forward to your thoughts and ideas.
