A blog (also known as a web log) is a web 2.0 technology and basically an online journal. Each entry is displayed in chronological order with the most recent always located at the top. For this assignment, I was required to create, publish, and maintain a reflection blog of my thoughts on various course technology topics associated with this instructional technology course. There are four total entries in my blog. These entries reflect upon the readings, assignments, emergent technologies, and ideas for integrating technology into classroom instruction to meet curricular goals. As a teacher, I visualize blogging with parents and students about topics such as homework, units of study, dates of events and activities, daily reminders, school menus, and much more. Blogging could be a relatively easy and effective way to establish relationships and build community; both critical components of a classroom environment.
